Megmeister is showing-off its latest L8 bibshorts, which feature the boutique Dutch brand’s new “game-changing” 3D WAS (Warp Aero Suspension System) pad technology.
“Our new pad will make the bibshorts stand-out amongst its competitors for its class leading comfort and technical performance,” boasts Megmeister.
Relying on extensive research and rider feedback, the L8 bibshort was developed over a period of two years and extensively field-tested.
“The new 3D WAS system pad marks both a pioneering departure from traditional foam chamois and an end to riders feeling saddle sore after long days on the bike,” says Megmeister.
The innovative pad replaces traditional foam with an advanced warp knitted suspension system across two outer layers of fabric. Megmeister says this improves pressure distribution in the saddle, providing increased levels of comfort.
Additionally, Megmeister says the warp-knitted fiber construction of the pad is designed to reflect the dampening effect of a car suspension, by both absorbing the initial impact felt by the rider and then returning to its original state to deal with the next “bump in the road”. Moreover, when clinically pressure-map tested at various laboratories, the new 3D WAS pad outperformed conventional foam chamois, resulting in a “more comfortable, long-lasting pain-free ride”.
In addition to its 3D WAS pad, the new bibshort also features Cool Touch and four-way stretch woven fabric that’s designed to absorb and disperses perspiration and keep the rider dry and comfortable during warm weather riding condition, along with UV protection and reflective detailing for added protection and safety.
The new Megmeister L8 bibshorts are available in both a men’s and women’s version for £169.96.
