MET has introduced its latest helmet called the Rivale, offering MIPS crash protection technology, the brand’s new Safe-T Upsilon retention system and generous amounts of ventilation at the affordable price of £150. The new lid also features a secure docking area for sunglasses.
“Our new Rivale MIPS is made to be inseparable from our best cycling memories. It represents one of the most vibrant statements of our mission, which began more than 30 years ago; create iconic designs that inspire confidence and and enhance the experience of cycling'” says MET.
The Rivale’s ability to cheat the wind was also an important consideration when designing the new helmet, which features a distinctive NACA top panel to smooth out airflow, while large front channels ensure excellent cooling properties.
As mentioned, the Rivale is equipped with the Italian company’s new Safe-T Upsilon retention system, providing excellent ergonomic fit to suit most head shapes thanks to a 360-degree head strap that’s designed to contour the cranium and eliminate annoying pressure points.
The new Rivale is available in three sizes, small, medium and large, along with seven color choices.
