Miche Unveils New Deva RD Wheelset

Miche has unveiled its newest DEVA RD, representing the storied Italian brand’s lightest wheelset to date.

Deva is a Sanskrit word meaning shining one. A word that embodies harmony, perfection, and the bond that connects sky and matter. With the Deva RD, that light becomes substance: it weaves into carbon, takes shape through essential forms, and finds balance in every line that cuts through the air. From this vision comes our most aerodynamic and lightest wheel ever,” boasts Miche.

Relying on a mix of T700, T800 and T1000 carbon fiber, the new Deva RD is offered in two profiles, 52mm and 62mm, with the former having a 33mm outer width up front and a 31mm at the rear, while the latter measures in at 31mm and 30mm. However, both variants feature the same 23mm internal width to accommodate a wide range of tire sizes.

At the center of the Deva RD, are Miche’s Deva RD hubs that are machined from solid Ergal 7075 T6 aluminum, as well as a mix of aluminum and titanium pawls for optional weight and strength, while the rims are laced with 21 carbon fiber Vonoa spokes. In addition, the new hoops have been treated to double-sealed CeramicSpeed bearings all-around.

All in, Miche says the wheelsets tip the scales at 1300 and 1370 grams, respectively.

The Deva RD is available in two decal options, Midnight Black and Daylight Silver, which sell for €3,200.
