Muc-Off Announces New “Big Bore” Tubeless Valves

Muc-Off has announced the latest product in its ever-growing arsenal of bike components called Big Bore Valves, which as its name implies is a new tubeless valve set-up that features a “straight through” coreless design that increases airflow by a staggering 264% over traditional Presta valves.

Offered in three variants, Lite, Hybrid and Ludicrous, airflow is controlled via a lever-operated ball valve, allowing users to dial in the desired amount of air pressure on the fly, something that can be especially helpful when it comes to seating tubeless tires.

According to Muc-Off, in order to offer the maximum airflow, the Ludricrous valves are designed around a schrader fitment, while the Hybrid relies on a Presta valve fit at the rim and a Schrader valve fit at the pump end. In the case of the Lite, it uses a Presta valve fit at both ends.

Available in six colors and four stem lengths, the Hybrid and the Lite sell for $49.00, with pricing for the Ludicrous to be announced.
