“In a recent consumer study, Muc-Off asked its fans which products they’d like the brand to develop next. Sex Lube was the most popular suggestion. The Digital Marketing Team also discovered that the third most popular Google branded search term was ‘Can I use Muc-Off lube for more than just my bike?’. These insights prompted the appointment of a new crack team of sexologists who set about producing a lube designed to withstand the demands of the most intense sexual encounters, whether riding solo, with a partner, or even as part of a group,” explains Muc-Off.
Borrowing technology from its high-performance chain lubes such as the world-renowned Ludicrous AF, the new Sex Lube has been formulated to deliver ultra-smooth, long-lasting, and repeatable results. The unique formula facilitates self-lubricating capabilities which optimises friction levels and reduces power loss, whilst the high-pressure additives provide unrivalled durability in dry, moist, and fully wet conditions
“We worked long and hard to develop a deep penetrating lubricant that fills that sweet spot between smoothness and abrasion. Muc-Off used a dermatologically adapted version of its in-house tribometer during development, with the key findings being supported by independent testing bodies. According to the development team however, it was the real-world testing which proved to be the most conclusive, hence their need to clock-up thousands of hours of in-depth research, in a range of locations and positions, often pulling all-nighters in the process.
