Ned Boulting’s 2022 Cycling Almanac “The Road Book” is Out

First published in 2018, The Road Book is the first of its kind, supplying data from every single World Tour race across the Men’s and Women’s calendar, exclusive essays, editorial from leading figures within cycling, team profiles and the kind of considered editorial our readers will dip in and out of for years to come.

The Road Book 2022 marks Boulting’s 5th anniversary of covering every single moment of racing in intricate detail.

This year’s addition contains a detailed analysis of the 2022 pro cycling season, with infographics, team profiles and essays from riders such as Lorena Wiebes, Matej Mohoric and Magnus Cort Nielsen, who all contributed journal entries from their high-profile wins this season for “In the Winners’ Words” section, as well as commentary from famed German sprinter André Greipel and highlights from the first official women’s Tour de France in year’s.

Additionally, celebrated cycling authors Peter Cossins, Edward Pickering and Amy Lauren Jones also contributed to this year’s almanac, along with image galleries from renown photographer Russ Ellis.

The book concludes with “The Road Book Rider of the Year Awards,” with winners being chosen by a panel including Lizzie Deignan of the UCI Women’s WorldTeam Trek–Segafredo, retired rider Brian Holm and journalist Christian Prudhomme

“We, at The Road Book, are proud to present the 2022 edition, the most detailed yet. Its vault of data is complemented by an exceptional range of writing from across the world of road racing and beyond. At the heart of this book are the two Tours de France, just as they were set into the heart of the summer. It was a truly historic year,” says Boulting.

You can pre-order the book here for $58.00.
