Pirelli Revamps P Zero Race TLR Road Tire

Pirelli has revamped its P Zero Race TLR tubeless road tire with a new carcass, resulting in what the storied Italian brand says is a 24% reduction in rolling resistance for the 28mm variant, while the same SmartEVO rubber compound is further reinforced by its new Speedcore construction that utilizes aramid fibers for improved puncture protection.

“Thanks to SPEEDCORE the structure of the new P ZERO Race TLR is much more flexible and thinner than a traditional butyl rubber layer, with improved mechanical resistance characteristics compared to the previous version of the product and able to offer a better level of puncture protection than a classic bead-to-bead fabric casing. Compared to the previous version, the weight and excellent grip and reliability characteristics in dry and wet conditions remain unchanged, confirming the product as a reliable and high-performance all-rounder, a benchmark in its category,” boasts Pirelli.

The new P Zero Race TLR is available in 700×26, 700×28 and 700×30 with either a tan or black sidewall. Pirelli also offers a 700×32, albeit with a black sidewall only.

Additionally, Pirelli says it will be introducing 700×35 and 700×40 versions later this year, with pricing for the new P Zero Race TLR range to be announced.
