Despite Spring and Summer still being quite aways off, Q36.5 has nonetheless decided to show off its latest collection, comprising a series of new jerseys and bib shorts.
“Built on more than a decade of uncompromising research and development in the Dolomites, the collection represents a confident evolution of our design language, pairing forensic precision engineering with a bolder, more expressive aesthetic,” boasts Q36.5.
DOTTORE CLIMA RANGE
The best expression of this new evolution is the new Dottore Clima range, Q36.5’s pinnacle collection for extreme heat, has now been redesigned for 2026, making it their lightest ever jersey with graphene yarn for extreme heat. Moreover, the new Dottore Clima jersey combines an optimized marriage of thermoregulation and aerodynamics first developed for Q36.5 Pro Cycling’s Vuelta bid, providing the versatility that defines Q36.5’s Dottore range to create a new ‘supercar’ racing jersey for riders who need to feel the difference this Summer.
Additionally, Q36.5 makes use of a sartorial raglan construction, a tailored method of designing sleeves that extend in one piece fully to the neckline, resulting in a diagonal seam from the underarm to the neck. This technique offers greater ease of movement, superior comfort, and a distinct aesthetic more commonly seen in luxury tailoring. The power mesh pocket construction means you can still hold everything you need for long, hot summer rides.
“Across bib shorts, jerseys and specialist heat-management pieces, Precision and Daring brings together our core performance philosophies with new colorways, graphics and proprietary technologies developed entirely in-house. Every garment is designed to perform consistently across real-world riding conditions, while reflecting the brand’s belief that technical excellence and visual confidence should coexist, never compromise,” adds Q36.5.
Q36.5 BIB SHORTS
Nowhere is this philosophy clearer than in Q36.5’s industry-leading bib shorts, where new woven fabric construction and modular product thinking continue to set benchmarks for versatility, support, and long-term comfort.
Founder of Q36.5 Luigi Bergamo explains: “In 2013 we pioneered the use of woven fabrics in bib short construction and today Dottore is the ultimate evolution of our woven philosophy. From a purely performance point of view the fabric and cut of the Dottore allow for a superior alignment of muscle fibers, reducing muscular fatigue but for everyday use the woven fabric we developed allows for them to be the lightest, fastest drying and longest lasting bib shorts you have ever owned”.
For 2026, Q36.5 adds bold new color variants for the Gregarius Pro and Dottore Pro Bib Shorts as well as their accompanying jerseys. The 2026 bib shorts also use an all-new chamois design conceptualised in-house by Q36.5 themselves, a rarity for many cycling clothing designers who often rely on third-party designs.
The Q36.5 new generation of chamois is developed and designed internally to revolutionize in-the-saddle comfort. In developing their own chamois, Q36.5 has rethought and refined every aspect of chamois technology. The new surface fabric is softer and dries extremely quickly compared to the prior design and uses a proprietary fabric made using a three-dimensional woven material to facilitate more effective moisture transfer.
The new construction removes any glue or lamination from the process to avoid the use of any toxins, which restricts the breathability and moisture management of the garment. The lack of glue or lamination also increases the freedom of movement, allowing the insert to adjust to different body shapes, reducing pressure, and absorbing vibrations from the road or trail. Tests show that the new chamois dries 26% faster than previous versions.
As with all Q36.5 releases, the Q36.5 pro team plays a key role in providing feedback to the design team for innovation. See below quotes from team riders on their favorite products from the range:
Tom Pidcock – Dottore Pro Bib Shorts
“I’ve never owned a pair of shorts where I could actually get through a whole season with one pair. I don’t suffer from saddle sores anymore, and the quality and comfort of the shorts lasts such a long time! They are the best bib shorts I have ever worn, and they provide the best comfort I have experienced for long days of training and racing”.
When comparing the Gregarius and Dottore, David De la Cruz said: “The Q36.5 Gregarius line is like wheels you can rely on every day for every bit of your training. Dottore are your race wheels; they give you the extra edge for pure performance”.
Two other new ranges have had notable updates for the 2026 Spring summer collection:
ADVENTURE MERINO RANGE
The adventure Merino range has also been revamped for 2026 but its core tenant remains: a hi-tech interpretation of the classic wool jersey with a more relaxed fit. A new merino wool–nylon piquet fabric keeps you cool and comfortable. The relaxed fit is complemented by Dottore fabric inserts for increased cooling and an extra hidden pocket adds storage for long adventures. The merino jersey range is also available as a tech tee.
REGARIUS PRO – TEAM GELATO JERSEY
With an updated graphic for this Q36.5 classic, the Team Gelato jersey is dedicated to rides when finishing with a smile is a must. The print may be fun but the jersey is the same as the normal Gregarius Pro advanced body mapping with 3 different fabrics for superior thermoregulation. A new 6mm ribbed aero sleeve fabric offers increased aerodynamics, perfect for the sprint to the gelato stand.
