Designed specifically for Dura-Ace R9100 series cranksets, Quarq’s new DFour91 power meter brings what the company calls its “next-generation version of its DZero platform” to Shimano’s latest groupset.
According to Quarq, DFour91 embodies 10 years of the brand’s power meter technology, to include new features such as dual Bluetooth Low Energy and ANT+ wireless data transfer, revised circuitry, a new strain gauge design and the latest version of their Qalvin BLE app.
In addition, Quarq has designed the DFour91 power meter to be a simple bolt-on upgrade, which easily pairs with the Dura-Ace R9100’s 11-speed chainrings.
Buyers also get Quarq’s AxCad accelerometer cadence and a CR2032 battery, which features an IPX7 waterproof rating.
Buyers can also purchase Quarq’s lightweight, sturdy ExogramTM carbon crank arms, as well as chose between their GXP and BB30 versions, which work with every bottom bracket shell, including BBright and BB386EVO.
The DFOUR91 power meter sells for $1,179.00.
