To celebrate its 20th anniversary, Rapha has partnered with ByBorre on its latest knitted vest, which relies on advanced robotic machinery to create 3-dimensional fabrics that combine a mix of natural and synthetic fibers into unique patterns.
“Our collaboration with Rapha goes way back, and I’m excited that we were able to come together again to create something truly innovative. Through our digital platform, Rapha had access to our transparent textile supply chain, allowing them to create custom textiles that align with their vision while making conscious decisions throughout the design process,” says Borre Akkersdijk, ByBorre founder.
Designed with a roomy fit that’s meant to be worn off the bike, the vest is made of a 25% merino / 58% recycled polyester / 17% recycled nylon blend.
The Rapha + ByBorre vest is available in two colors, light or dark gray with underlying pink accents and a bright hi-viz pink lining across six unisex sizes that span XS to XXL for $260.
