Rapha has unveiled its new kit for USA Cycling, marking the first such collaboration between the British brand and America’s cycling governing body.
“A futuristic exploration of the nation’s storied sporting history, the design evokes the lightness and grace of a rider in full flight. Blending instantly recognisable elements of the Stars and Stripes with a sense of movement creates a new look for USA Cycling. It is a kit that feels fast even when standing still, meant to mirror the explosive energy of a new generation of American talent,” says Rapha.
“The collection marries the iconography of the Stars and Stripes with the illustrious past of American cycling to create a futuristic new look for the team. The US has seen pioneering victories from the likes of Nelson Vails and Connie Carpenter-Phinney, and as we look toward 2028, we draw inspiration from previous golden summers to write new history on home soil, adds USA Cycling.
The kit comprises Rapha’s Rouleur Jersey and Pro Team Bib Shorts III, as wells other accessories such as socks.
“This kit represents over a decade of world-class competition and innovation. We’ve left no stone unturned so that when USA Cycling athletes show up for their country, they can stand on the start line with total confidence. The starting pistol for LA has been fired and there is nothing more powerful for a sport than a home Games. The energy, the expectation, the history – Rapha will support American cycling to seize the opportunity with both hands,” says Rapha CEO Fran Millar said.
