Santini Unveils Special Edition Jersey for La Stelvio Santini 2026

La Stelvio Santini returns for 2026, introducing a brand-new gravel event alongside the traditional road race. As always, every participant will receive the official event jersey. Created in collaboration with Polartec, it is a high-performance garment that blends performance and style, tradition and modernity, into a powerful visual narrative, a tribute to the history and culture of a mountain that has inspired generations of cyclists.

“For many amateur riders, the dates June 6 and 7 are already marked with a red circle: La Stelvio Santini is back, and the 2026 edition brings an exciting new addition. On Saturday, the spotlight will be on the gravel event, joining the iconic road race on Sunday. A staple of the event, the exclusive official jersey will once again be included in every participant’s race pack. For the 14th edition, Santini has chosen to celebrate the most authentic soul of Stelvio and Valtellina, a land capable of captivating anyone who rides through it,” says Santini.

The inspiration comes from an 1871 book, “La Valtellina: canti” by Giuseppe Napoleone Besta. Within its pages is a passage dedicated to the Stelvio: a fragment that is reproduced on the back of the jersey as a tribute to the cultural and historical heritage of this iconic mountain.

The concept is completed by ancient illustrations of the Stelvio, reinterpreted in a contemporary key with an effect reminiscent of newspaper clippings. The contrast creates a clean, essential and harmonious composition, where past and present meet, evoking the charm of vintage prints and the evocative power of the Alpine peaks through a modern, refined design. From a technical standpoint, the jersey is made using Polartec Power Stretch fabric, ensuring outstanding comfort, freedom of movement and breathability. A slim fit, raw-cut sleeves, silicone grip at the waist, and a triple rear pocket complete a garment designed to tackle the most demanding rides without compromise.

“This is not just a top-quality technical jersey, it is a visual story steeped in history, nature and passion for cycling. Above all, it is a tribute to the Stelvio, its grandeur, and its enduring ability to inspire generations of cyclists,” boats Santini.

La Stelvio Santini is an amateur event with three road courses: the long route of 130 km, the medium of 108 km, and the short of 64 km. Every year it attracts thousands of cyclists from all over the world, all aiming to conquer one of cycling’s sacred giants, the Stelvio Pass.
