Scicon has unveiled two new sunglass models called the Aeroshade and the Aerowing, touting them as the “next generation” of eyewear.

The Aeroshade features a frame fitted with Scicon’s Horizon Adapt mechanism, the world’s first height-adjustable nose pad allowing cyclists to adapt the field of view to suit their preferred riding position, whereby simply pushing or pulling the nose of Horizon Adapt, they can adjust the lens position, allowing them to fully focus on performance with a clear view of the road. The Aeroshade also features a frame design that further increases the field of view by using the panoramic arch.

In the case of the Aerowing, Scicon says the goal was to create a style that was “less direct and more discreet” than the Aeroshade, which features a large lens shape with a laser etched finish that places a rimless cylindrical screen on the face of the rider, while a vented front construction allows for increased airflow to prevent fogging.
