Scicon’s New Aeroshade 2.0 Sunglasses Feature Titanium Temples

Scicon has launched the latest version of its Aeroshade sunglasses aptly dubbed the Aeroshade 2.0. But, unlike its predecessor, the new shades feature titanium temples, along with a Grilamid TR90 mono-shield frame

“In professional cycling, vision is performance. Every descent, sprint and breakaway depends on absolute clarity and protection. With the launch of our Aeroshade 2.0 Titanium, Scicon continues its push into elite sports optics, refining one of the most recognizable silhouettes in modern cycling eyewear,” boasts the Italian brand.

When Scicon entered the sports eyewear market in 2020, the Aeroshade quickly appeared across the professional peloton. Riders wearing the design went on to win major international races, including the Tour de France with Tadej Pogačar, turning the frame into a recognizable symbol of modern race eyewear

After more than five years of real-world testing, Scicon’s Innovation & Design Center revisited the concept, re-engineering the structure and materials to create Scicon Sports Aeroshade 2.0 Titanium.

Titanium Temples and Precision Engineering

The most notable upgrade lies in the titanium temples, now produced from solid titanium rod instead of stamped metal components. This material offers exceptional resistance to corrosion and deformation while maintaining elasticity and comfort during long rides.

Each temple is refined through more than twenty precision manufacturing steps, creating controlled flexibility and long-term durability without adding weight

Ventilation, Fit and Optical Performance

The redesigned front frame introduces a modern squared shield profilewith integrated micro-ventilation ports that help reduce fogging during intense efforts. Comfort is enhanced by the Flexifit 2.0 nose pad, combined with the Horizon Adapt system, allowing riders to adjust the height and positioning of the frame for an optimal field of vision.

Additionally, the Aeroshade 2.0 Titanium is equipped with Hi-Contrast mirrored or photochromic cylindrical lenses, designed to enhance terrain definition and visual clarity in changing light conditions, while laser-cut finishing and Nanotech hydrophobic coatings help repel water, oil and dirt for consistently clear vision.

Built for Performance on Every Ride

Lastly, for riders requiring corrective vision, Aeroshade 2.0 Titanium supports an integrated RX optical insert positioned securely within the frame. Also, each model is delivered with a performance-focused accessory package that includes a protective hard case, microfiber pouch and spare lens where applicable.

The new Aeroshade 2.0 Titanium sell for $265 with Hi-Contrast lenses, or $295 with the tint-adjusting photochomic lens, which are available in several different frame and lens colors. In addition, the first 200 customers will receive a softcover copy of the Tadej Pogačar Triple Crown Photobook that’s valued at $99.
