Stages Cycling has given Power to the People, by lowering the cost on its range of Shimano power meters.
Indeed, Stages Cycling is now offering its entry level Shimano 105 R7000 Power L meter for $299, with prices ranging up to $999 for the brand’s flagship Shimano DuraAce R9100 LR Power model.
“Stages power meters revolutionized the power measurement category when we launched seven years ago, making a tool once reserved for paid professionals available to any cyclist, regardless of their goals,” said Pat Warner, Stages Cycling vice president. “These even more affordable prices are fueled by innovation in efficiencies at our Boulder, Colorado, factory, innovations driven in part by the continuing robust growth of our indoor business which supplies power meter-equipped bikes to thousands of fitness clubs around the globe. From the start, our dream has been to let any rider train like a pro, and these new pricing will help even more riders realize their own dreams, whether that’s finishing a bucket-list 200 mile gravel race or just keeping that New Year’s resolution to lose a few pounds.”
