More than 3,000 people gathered in Mexico City’s Zócalo Square yesterday, to recreate the shape of a bicycle, as part of the annual Semana de la Bicicleta – Bicycle Week.
The event is aimed at promoting cycling as a means of getting round the city, as both in terms of health benefits, as well as reducing pollution – by limiting the number of automobiles.
To celebrate the event, which is now in its fjord year, city government created this video.
