Since the untimely passing of Roland Cattin, the founder and president of Time Sport in France, a little more than a year ago, his daughter Julia has taken over as the new director – joining company executives Christine Collin and Marie Pierre Pradeau, to form a top leadership team of women to see the iconic French into the future.
Ms. Cattin comes from a strong background in marketing and sales, and joins Collin and Pradeau who have overseen Time Sport’s global sales and marketing and operations over the years. And, in the case of Ms. Collin, she’s been with the company since its earliest beginnings in 1991.
Renown composites expert, Jean Marc Gueugneaud, a name synonymous with the development of carbon fiber in the cycling industry, whose career reaches all the way back to TVT Composites and the creation of some of the first carbon fiber bikes alongside Greg LeMond, continues to lead Time Sport’s Research and Development division.
Recently, Ms. Cattin completed an extensive tour of North America, meeting with all of Time Sport’s brand managers and dealer network, to introduce herself, and gather feedback and advice.
According to Ms. Cattin, Time Sport will “continue its proud heritage as a leader in innovative bicycle design, while keeping all of its operations and manufacturing on French soil”.
