Lazer showed-off it prototype Bullet aero helmet during this week’s Eurobike show, complete with sliding outside vents and inside louvers.
“We were pushed by our pro riders for something more specifically aero than the Aeroshell helmets,” said Lazer’s Chris Smith. “The Bullet has a slimmer frontal profile and an elongated shape that was designed for aerodynamics with computer modeling and wind-tunnel tested.”
According to Smith, the Bullet will come with two vents covers — the honeycomb piece shown above, plus a solid option.
No official launch date set has been set for the Bullet. But, word has it, several trips to the wind-tunnel and testing by behalf of a number of Lotto-Soudal riders, has the helmet more than prepared it for its debut.
