2014 Lapierre FDJ Xelius EFI Released

Each year Lapierre commemorates it’s sponsorship of Française des Jeux with a team replica as part of it’s range of bikes. This year is no different. However, the French brand is offering it’s flagship model in a fully configurable matter, to include "pin-up" girls in it’s livery.

Lapierre’s online configurator allows customers to spec everything from groupsets (from Shimano or SRAM), to the fork, wheels and cockpit bits and pieces.

In addition to the traditional FDj.fr scheme, other frame colors are available. For example, if a customer chooses the Ultimate Red frame option, they can select a fork with a World War II aircraft-style pin-up motif. Behold, Aurélie, Nicole and Audrey.

According to Lapierre, the pin-ups adhere to French notion of combining "beauty and excellence.” Not sure how the feminists will feel about that though ?
