2014 Tour de Troit’s "Cycle Into Spring"

Join the Detroit Eastside Community Collaborative and Tour de Troit for the Third Annual Cycle into Spring in 2014!

Enjoy a pleasant pedal from the Detroit River to Eight Mile and back along the Conner Creek Greenway (CCG), nine miles of cycling infrastructure that traces the original Conner Creek and links people, parks, green spaces, neighborhoods, schools and shops. Five miles are complete; funds raised at Cycle into Spring! will support programming and the development of the final four miles of the greenway.

The 20-mile ride will begin at 9 a.m. and is police-escorted as well as sweeper and SAG-supported. Sites along the way include Coleman A. Young International Airport, Mt. Olivet Cemetery, the Milbank Trail, the Chrysler Jefferson North Assembly Plant and Chandler Park.  Registration opens soon.

Cycle Into Spring attracted over 500 riders in 2013 and has raised over $5,000 for the Conner Creek Greenway since 2012.

Registration Information: Riders can register for the ride at Eventbrite until Friday, May 2. Ticket options include:

  • Ride and Lunch from Slows to Go: $35
  • Ride Only: $25
  • Lunch Only: $15
