2015 Tour de France Jersey Unveiled

Le Coq Sportif unveiled next year’s official Tour de France jersey.

The 2015 maillot jaune will celebrate the 40th time the Tour de France has finished on the famous Champs-Élysées, as well as commemorate 1975 winner, Bernard Thévenet’s jersey.

Le Coq Sportif CEO, Frank Heissat, said:

“The 1975 jersey was the prime inspiration for the 2015 Yellow Jersey. The details taken from Bernard Thévenet’s jersey – a Mandarin collar and a visible zipper – show how well we combine sporting performance and natural elegance. For the 40th anniversary race, we wanted to use an iconic design that incorporated two symbols of the Tour de France: the maillot jaune and the Arc de Triomphe.

“Le Coq Sportif will continue to use its expertise as a performance clothing  manufacturer to serve the leaders in the 2015 Tour de France. Like last year, we are furthering our innovation to give them the high-performance technical gear they need.”
