Fast Forward (FFWD) Special Edition F4R Chrome Edition Wheelset

Fast Forward (FFWD) unveiled a special edition wheelset this week, called the F4R Chrome Edition.

The limited edition wheelset features FFWD’s 45mm F4R FCC rim, treated to a special matte black finish, along with a chrome version of DT Swiss’ venerable 240s hubs.

In addition, the LE wheelset features FFWD’s Double Arc aero technology (DARC), which encompasses a 22.4mm wide rim designed in conjunction with a unique “aero profile”, the company’s Equal Compression carbon technology, along with their Confidence Braking Technology (CBT), which uses a special application of carbon fiber along brake track.

The wheelset is compatible with either 11speed Shimano, SRAM or Campagnolo free-hubs, with Sapim CX-Ray spokes laced in a 20/24 pattern, along with padded wheel bags, rim tape, valve extenders, skewers, and SwissStop brake pads.
