3T Launches New Orbis Wheelsets

3T unveiled their latest flagship wheelsets at last week’s InterBike Show – called the Orbis.

Previously known as the Mercurio (tubular) and Accelero (clincher) wheelsets, the completely redesigned rims, feature a new matrix of carbon fiber and resin, a more refined spoke slot / molding process, as well as  a whole new outer finish.

In addition, the brake tracks have also been upgraded, which feature a different composition of carbon and resin as well.

3T will offer five models of the new Orbis, in both tubular and clincher versions, with rim profiles of 40mm, 60mm, and 80mm for tubulars and 40mm and 60mm for clinchers.
