Shimano no sooner lifted the curtains on its new XTR Di2 groupset, that 4iiii answered the call by offering compatible versions of its Precision 3+ and Precision 3+ Pro power meter cranks, an all-new design that features a “user-friendly” battery cap that’s been engineered to comply with new safety standards, along with improved durability and the Canadian brand’s promise of +/- 1% accuracy thanks to its 3D strain gauge technology.
Additionally, 4iiii claims a battery life of up to 800 hours, as well as the integration of Apple’s Find My function.
While 4iiii has plans to offer its Ride Ready option to the market, the power cranks are currently only available through the company’s Factory Install process, where customers measure the clearance of their cranks to the frame before sending the crankset to 4iiii for the fitment of the power meter.
The single-side Precision 3+ and dual-side Precision 3+ Pro power meters sell for $333.9.00, which is only available through the brand’s Canadian store.
