Cannondale Pro Cycling Team Has Equipment Stolen



According to the Italian newspaper, Messagero Veneto, the Cannondale Pro Cycling Team is the latest to fall victim to a major theft.

The article indicates that a number of bikes and equipment estimated at 100,000 euros were stolen overnight from the team;s headquarters in Italy’s Friuli-Venezia Giulia region. Moreover, bikes for Ivan Basso and Peter Sagan were among those that were stolen..

Team Cannondale is currently completing an inventory to assess the extent of it’s losses. There is an ongoing investigation into the theft.
