Much as I love the esteemed Italian brand, if you want to pay homage to Shepp’s quote, there’s a custom one-of-a-kind Colnago "art bike" up for auction on eBay for a cool $110,00.00.

ONE-OF-A-KIND 2008 Colnago FUTURA La Carrera prototype road bicycle frame fully built with custom wheel-set hand painted by FUTURA.
This frame was the prototype for the Look Ma No Brakes project which revived both the Master Pista model and the Art Bike concept! In 2007, La Carrera collaborated on this project with world renowned graffiti/street artists FUTURA and Stash, and legendary bicycle manufacturer Colnago. Thirty-eight track frames were made based on each of the artists’ design but the prototypes were road frames and this is a one-of-one original! The frame has an amazing blend of artistry and performance; Futura’s stunning design (inspired, he says, by Wonderbread) realized on Ernesto Colnago’s Master frame (hand-laid in Pisa). This Master frame is assembled with stunning chromed lugs for the purist who wants the classic ride and clean lines that only come from a lugged steel frame. Details include hand painted logos, detailing on the lugs, chrome seat/chain stays, and the always beautiful Colnago logo on the 1" head tube.
The HED Jet 90 wheels were painted to compliment the protoype road frame by Futura in 2011 as a gift to Nadir Olivet, the creator of the Look Ma No Brakes project (authentication photo of FUTURA working on wheels available).
All other components were selected and assembled by Nadir.
