Easton's Dream Bike Charity Sweepstakes

Hunter Cycles is 5th and final installment in the Easton Dream Bike Charity Sweepstakes.

Press release:

Easton Cycling is giving away hand built road bikes from Caletti Cycles, Calfee Design, Black Cat, Hunter and Rock Lobster, in The Dream Bike Charity Sweepstakes.

For Febuary we are featuring a Dream Bike fromHunter Cycles.

Rick Hunter has been building bikes since 1993 and that experience is evident in every one of the frames that he constructs. Hunter offers TIG-welded and fillet brazed steel frames of every type—from cargo bikes to singlespeeds—but this craftsman’s road bikes truly stand apart.

We are proud to partner with Hunter for February’s dream bike giveaway. This sparkling, candy apple red frame is breathtakingly elegant; it’s built with the very best components available (including Shimano Dura Ace 9000, Easton EC90 components and our award-winning new wheels, the EC90 Aero 55) and it can be yours by participating in our Dream Bike Charity Sweepstakes.  The 55-centimeter frame is comprised of a mix of lightweight, double-butted steel tubing and the rear triangle is a balance of opposites: with massive, muscular chain stays and diminutive, curvy seat stays.

“I wanted to make this thing special,” said Hunter. “It’s basically my dream road bike, in a smaller size.” Hunter is donating 100-percent of the proceeds of this bike sweepstakes to the American Red Cross. “There are a lot of great nonprofits in the world,” he said. “But Red Cross… They’re the ones on the ground, offering help to the people that need it most.”

ABOUT US

Hunter Cycles offers TIG-welded and fillet brazed steel frames for everything from racing to hauling cargo, in addition to handmade forks and stems. We also offer complete bikes and wheel builds.

Rick Hunter has been designing and fabricating custom frames since 1993. Rick still builds every frame himself, with the same focus on simplicity and craftsmanship, from a small shop in the hills of Santa Cruz County. Rick doesn’t like to brag, but riders from the legendary DFL Cross Dress Series to the Cycle Messenger World Championships will tell you there is no finer frame than a Hunter.
