Fizik has given it’s R3 and R5 road the BOA treatment for 2015.
Designated the R3B and R5B, both models feature Fizik’s BOA IP1 dual direction closure. In addition, both shoes get a Microtex upper and slightly different finish on the instep. The heel pad has also been "tweaked" a bit in order to make it easier to replace.
The key difference that separates the 3B and 5B, is a carbon fiber sole versus a carbon reinforced nylon sole. Otherwise the features are the same.
Additionally, the women’s Donna 5B-series, get reflective panels on both sides of the upper.
