Kuota Launches New Road Bike Range

Stolid and "missing-in-action" over the last few years (at least here in the USA), the Italian brand, Kuota, is set to launch a new range of road bikes for 2014.

The emerging range, consists of two new road bikes called the Khydra and Kiral, along with a  time trial/triathlon model called the KTS Zero – as seen at this week’s 2014 Bike Place Trade Show in the UK.

The Kiral and Khydra differentiate themselves by the latter being the disc brake specific model of the two.

Not surprisingly, the new KTS Zero features an integrated fuselage that’s broadly similar to other TT/Triathlon bikes, wherein the fork, stem and head tube act as one.  In addition, Kuota has kept trend by locating the rear brake behind an oversized BB386EVO the bottom bracket and provisions for both mechanical and electronic group sets.

While we await pricing and availability in the USA, Kuota offers the Khydra and Kiral frameset for £1,399 and complete bikes starting from £2,450 in the UK, with the KTS Zero tba.

Hopefully in due time, Kuota will release more information on it’s new line-up.
