NextGreat Trip Partners with USA Pro Challenge

The Denver, Colorado based, NextGreat Trip, has partnered with the USA Pro Challenge, to offer cycling enthusiasts a special way to experience "America’s Race" in true "red carpet" style.

Billed as their USA Pro Challenge Adventure", NextGreat Trip offers cyclists five days of supported riding through the Colorado Rockies, along with VIP access at stage finishes during this year’s race.

In addition, cycling clientele will be transported to each stage of the race via private charter flights, which will follow the Pro Challenge routes, as well as "ride alongs" in official race vehicles during the race. Clients will also enjoy the company of trip hosts, former National Road Champion Timmy Duggan and U23 National Champion Craig Lewis.

A portion of the proceeds from trip reservations will be donated to the USA Cycling Development Foundation, which provides promising young athletes with the tools they need to excel at the highest levels of professional cycling, of which Duggan was once a beneficiary.

The experience, which begins and ends in Aspen, includes:

  • Five days of supported riding with former professional cyclists, and car support
  • Six nights of luxury lodging at hotels including the Broadmoor and The Lodge at Vail
  • Two private charter flights between race stages
  • Exclusive perspective on the race and riding time with Timmy Duggan and Craig Lewis
  • Opportunity to ride select race stages prior to the pros, in addition to other iconic Colorado routes
  • Opportunity to ride alongside racers in an official race vehicle during one stage of the race
  • Access to VIP viewing and hospitality tents
  • Personal bike transport, tuning, bike concierge services and dedicated “SAG Wagon,” between each city
  • Onsite NextGreatTrip staff support, and concierge service throughout the week
  • Ground transportation to and from the hotel to riding routes and VIP viewing areas

For those who can’t commit to an entire week, NextGreatTrip is also offering a weekend opportunity to enjoy VIP access to the race, with its “Aspen Snowmass VIP Cycling Experience,” Aug. 16-19. The shorter experience offers supported riding on the Stage One race route, access to Duggan, and VIP treatment in hospitality tents and an official race vehicle that transports participants alongside racers during the Aspen Snowmass stage.

The experience, which begins and ends in Aspen, includes:

  • Opportunity to ride Stage One race route prior to the pros, with snack and beverage service, in addition to other iconic Colorado routes
  • Three nights of luxury lodging in Aspen/Snowmass
  • Exclusive perspective on the race and riding time with Timmy Duggan and Craig Lewis
  • Opportunity to ride alongside racers in an official race vehicle during Stage One of the race
  • Access to VIP viewing and hospitality tents
  • Dinner with one of the professional cycling teams on Sunday, Aug. 17
  • Ground transportation between airport and hotel

Both options also offer bicycle rentals and accessories, spa treatments and more for an added cost.

The USA Pro Challenge, taking place Aug. 18-24, is one of the largest cycling events in U.S. history, and the largest spectator event to ever take place in Colorado. Over the course of seven consecutive days, the fourth-annual USA Pro Challenge will begin in Aspen and end in Denver, spotlighting the best-of-the-best in professional cycling across the majestic Colorado Rockies.

Denver-based NextGreatTrip is a premium vacation service that orchestrates thoughtfully crafted experiences via charter flights to iconic, and often difficult-to-access destinations.

“Our business is about creating experiences of a lifetime, and it’s a thrill for us to highlight what we do best through an event that’s not only on the world’s radar, but also happens to be in our own backyard,” said Founder and CEO of Denver-based NextGreatTrip, Tom Filippini. “We’re honored to partner with the USA Pro Challenge and USA Cycling on such exciting experiences, and offer not only great opportunities to view one of the world’s premier cycling events, but also so many beautiful parts of our amazing state.”

“Spectators are at the heart of the USAPro Challenge – without them, we wouldn’t have a race – so we are always looking for ways to enhance the viewing experience,” said Shawn Hunter, CEO of the USA Pro Challenge. “This exclusive opportunity for fans to follow the race and travel to each stage, while gaining this high level of access, is a really unique opportunity.”
