Sigma Launches New 'Move' Training App

Sigma announces the addition of it’s new ‘Move’ training app

Overview

Sigma Move is a new free fitness app created by global bicycle electronics manufacturer, Sigma Sport, which will log all your favorite activities and motivate you to stay on track to reach your fitness goals. Sigma Move uses your iPhone’s GPS to calculate speed, pace and distance for outdoor activities (running, road/mountain biking, hiking, walking, golfing, inline skating, skiing, snowboarding, etc.) The app also records fitness data for indoor activities (gym, treadmill, indoor cycling, etc.) without GPS. Pair the app with Sigma’s R1 Blue Comfortex+ HR chest strap to turn the Sigma Move app into a fully functioning heart rate monitor.

The Sigma Move app records average and max speed and pace for your favorite fitness activities. The app can be completely tailored to your personal preferences; the auto lap function can be customized for each sport based on either time or distance and specific training fields can be saved as favorites. The color-coded route summary in map view provides a quick overview of your speed, pace, and HR data (if using a chest strap) while also showing your current location and auto lap locations.

While using the Sigma Move app you can control your music with play, pause, previous, next and playlist selection functions. A detailed analysis and lap report card is stored following each workout. Personal bests are recorded by activity and a complete history is saved for review. You can also directly share your workouts on Facebook and Twitter.

Free download from the App Store (iPhone 4s or above, requires iOS 7) R1 Blue Comfortex+ HR chest strap $65.99 (ref. no. 20328)
