Abus Launches New 770A SmartX Bicycle Lock

Abus has launched a new smart bicycle lock aptly called the 770A SmartX, touting it as the most secure lock in its class.

According to Abus, an included keycard connects the dedicated ABUS app (iOS or Android) to the lock, wherein users simply approach their bicycle with their smartphone to quickly unlock the 770A SmartX.

From there, users needs only slide the shackle out in order to unlock their bike, and vice versa to lock it, relying on the smartphone app to active the 100dB alarm before walking away.

Additionally, each 770A SmartX can be used by multiple people, granting temporary or permanent access to other users.
