Fast on the heels of its debut Alfa road bike, Allied Cycle Works unveiled its latest ECHO carbon frameset today.
However, the ECHO goes places where its carbon sibling doesn’t. Namely, by offering fully custom geometry and additional weight savings that puts it amongst one of the lightest framesets available.
Indeed, according to Allied, the ECHO’s frame weighs in at a feathery 800g, while its full carbon fork tips the scale at a svelte 340g.
Similar to their Alfa frameset, Allied sources its high grade carbon fiber from Mitsubishi in California, and does all of its fabrication in-house at the company’s facility in Little Rock, Arkansas.
As one would expect, the ECHO features all of the latest trappings bike technology has to offer, such as internal cable routing that’s compatible with both mechanical and electronic groupsets, along with a press-fit BB86 bottom bracket. And, for the gravel grinder/adventure cyclist, the ECHO’s frame layout has been designed accommodate tires up to 28mm.

The ECHO was designed and engineered to be a thoroughbred. It is an ultra high performance bicycle that pushes the limits of both lightweight and ride quality. Now that we have put the geometry into the cyclist’s hands, it can be optimized for nearly any fit you desire.
CONSTRUCTION Eight components are carefully mitered and bonded together to create the ECHO. Each frame is assembled from a custom cut kit including head tube, top tube, seat tube / BB, down tube, seat stay unit, chain stay unit and rear dropouts. Once bonded, the joints are over wrapped with perfectly placed sheets of carbon and vacuum cured turning the eight components into one perfectly custom piece.

WEIGHT Amazingly, the ALLIED ECHO weighs in at an impressively light 800 grams for a 56cm frame. Never before has such a high performance, carbon fiber bicycle been available in the custom bicycle marketplace.
MATERIALS The ECHO is crafted from USA sourced Mitsubishi MR60H intermediate modulus and HR40 high modulus carbon fiber. This blend allows ALLIED to make the ALFA an amazingly lightweight yet durable product.

FINISH Available in our naked clear coat finish or any PPG Radiance 2 solid paint color. Please note some colors can increase the frame weight as much as 40 grams. Custom paint options available upon request, but can increase price and delivery time.
