ARUM Bikes Unveils Limited Edition ZEVRA Road Bike with Zebra Inspired Paint Scheme

The AURUM label first broke cover last fall, a new bespoke bike brand helmed by retired cycling greats Alberto Contador and Ivan Basso, with the MAGMA frameset debuting as its center-piece.

Jumping ahead to today, ARUM has unveiled a limited edition frameset called the ZEVRA that’s bedecked with a dazzling zebra inspired paint scheme.

According to ARUM, the ZEVRA is essentially built around the MAGMA frameset, comprising the same lightweight construction and geometry, but with slightly reshaped tube profiles, full cable integration, disc brakes, thru-axles and now clearance for tires up to 30mm.

The ZEVRA is limited to just 21 bikes, which are equipped with a Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 groupset and Lightweight Mileinstein Evo carbon wheels, as well as the German brand’s bespoke Bügelhalter carbon stem, Kompaktbügel carbon handlebar and Leistungesträger carbon seatpost. If that’s not enough, the bikes also fitted with CeramicSpeed bearings and the company’s OSPW system.

Lastly, if the whopping price tag of 14,900€ alone doesn’t denote exclusivity, each bike is signed by Contador and Basso.
