Bianchi has launched a new range of electric bikes called E-Omnia, comprising models across the cruiser and mountain bikes segments, including a full suspension and a hardtail version.
At the center of each model is a unique, angular design that houses a powerful Bosch Performance Line CX motor within its aluminum frame, delivering a hefty 85Nm of torque, along with two integrated battery options of 500Wh and 625Wh.
The cruiser range of bikes consists of the C Type and T Type.
The C Type features a step-through frame with an upright seating position, offering a choice of either a 10-speed Shimano Deore drivetrain, or belt-driven 5-speed Shimano Nexus rear hub set-up that can provide a range of travel of up to 70 miles (110km) with the larger battery option.
Additionally, the C Type has an integrated rear carrier that’s welded to the seatstays for transporting cargo, which also houses the integrated rear light.
Bianchi offers a range of panniers and a child seat to match as well. The bike also comes equipped with a kickstand, mudguards and a chainguard.
The T Type includes both a women’s and a men’s version, which feature a front suspension fork with 120mm travel, as well as the option of ABS braking.
The drivetrain choices are the same as the C Type, but the range of travel is increased to 121 miles (195km ).
For touring and off-road use, Bianchi offers the FT Type, which features a full suspension set-up with 120mm front and 100mm rear travel, with a choice between a Shimano XT 1×12-speed or Deore 1×11-speed drivetrain.
Also, like the C Type, the FT Type has an integrated rear rack and mudguards. There’s also the option for front wheel ABS, and the same range of travel with the larger battery option.
Lastly, the mountain bike range consists of the FX Type and the X Type.
The FX is a 29er that’s equipped with a higher-spec full-suspension set-up consisting of a Fox Float Rhythm 160mm fork and Fox Float DPS Performance 150mm rear shock, along with drivetrain options such as a Shimano XT or SRAM GX Eagle, along with the option of ABS braking.
The X Type is a hardtail 29er that comes with 120mm of front travel courtesy of a RockShox Recon fork, as well as the option for ABS braking and a belt drive set-up.
Like the other models, the X Type has integrated lights, but forgoes the rear rack.
According to Bianchi, both the FX Type and X Type have a range of travel of almost 90 miles (142km).
