Developed in partnership with the UAE Emirates WorldTour Team, Bikeone has introduced its latest ceramic “aero” bottom bracket, targeting enthusiasts who are in pursuit of every aerodynamic gain possible.
“The BSA Road Ceramic Aero UAE Bottom Bracket for Shimano is our lightest and most refined version yet: 15 grams lighter, built with a fully smooth aero cup, and engineered for smoother, more efficient rotation through hybrid ceramic bearings. How?
Not only is the BSA-threaded bottom bracket super light, tipping the scales at a mere 77 grams, the non-drive side cup encourages better airflow thanks to a completely smooth surface with the installation notches hidden on the inside, while hybrid ceramic bearings further reduce friction.
Additionally, “axial seals and o-rings” are used to fully seal the bottom bracket and protect it from the elements.
Compatible with 24mm Shimano axles only, the Bikeone “aero” bottom bracket sells for €288.43, which comes with installation tools for both sides, as well as two sets of extra seals.
