BKOOL Launches New Virtual Store with Even More Customization Options

The BKOOL indoor cycling simulator has just launched an update that includes an innovative virtual store with a completely new design and a host of additional customisation options. From now on, BKOOL users can not only be able to change their equipment, bike and 3D wheels, but also customize their avatar with different models of helmets and cycling glasses.

For this first launch, the application includes three models of 3D helmets: Van Ryssel, GIANT – Rev PRO MIPS and LIV – Rev PRO MIPS, which will be expanded in future updates. Four models of Scicon glasses have also been added: Scicon Aero Shade Kunken, Scicon Aero Scope, Scicon Aero Shade XL and Scicon Aero Watt, as well as the Van Ryssel PERF-900-LIGHT glasses.

BKOOL has also expanded its virtual bike catalogue with two new models from the FACTOR brand: FACTOR O2 VAM Velvet Red with BLACK INC 48|58 wheels, FACTOR O2 VAM Storm with BLACK INC 48|58 wheels and the AURUM Magma AGATE BLACK bike.

In addition, the cycling simulator has added new ways to customise sessions, allowing users to configure them as competitive events or free training sessions.

One of the first to try out the new features in the latest version of BKOOL was three-time world champion Óscar Freire at a special event last Tuesday, where dozens of cyclists from all over the world rode with him on the real circuit of the Zurich World Championships.

After all these novelties, in the coming weeks stars such as Alberto Contador, Chris Froome or Remco Evenepoel will also lead virtual group rides in BKOOL, taking part in events such as Il Lombardia or the next edition of the Giro d’Italia Virtual, which starts in October.

BKOOL is the official technology partner of RCS and its extensive catalogue of virtual routes includes races such as the Giro d’Italia with all its stages, the Strade Bianche, Il Lombardia, Tirreno-Adriatico, Milano-Sanremo or Milano-Torino, among others.

The indoor cycling platform is also a sponsor of the CRO Race 2024, which will take place in a few days on the roads of Croatia.

In the words of Ángel Luis Fernández Sánchez, BKOOL’s Marketing Director: “We want our users to enjoy a more personalised, social and fun experience. BKOOL continues to be the most complete and effective indoor training tool for achieving your goals, but the goal is for you to socialise and have fun while achieving them. All of the improvements included in this latest update and the virtual events we will be introducing by the end of the year are in this vein”.

Unlike other simulators, the arrival of major new features has not been accompanied by an increase in the price of your subscription. BKOOL is maintaining the price of its premium plans with a monthly option for €11/month, an annual subscription for €110/year and a family plan for three users for €43/year each. All plans include a 30-day free trial for new users.
