BMC no sooner announced the launch of its new Teammachine roadbike this week, images of the new model went live today, albeit concealing what is widely believed to be Shimano’s soon-to-be-released new Ultegra groupset.
Indeed, excuses for not having a good graphics department notwithstanding, images of the Teammachine show a completely blacked-out groupset when one clicks on the Ultegra “build category”, leading us to believe that Shimano has purposely asked all brands to keep the lid on its new groupset until such time as the Japanese component giant decides to officially raise the curtain.
The only other explanation could be, that this is the work of Russian hackers hoping to influence the outcome of this year’s bike sales.:roll:
