BMC Thrills with Hand-Built Mpc. Teammachine SLR and Roadmachine Road Bikes

BMC produces some pretty exclusive bikes as it is, but the Swiss brand has ratcheted things up a notch by offering hand-built specimens of its Teammachine SLR and Roadmachine framesets via its Mpc. program.

Developed and built by hand at its Impec R&D Lab in Switzerland, both framesets undergo a painstaking fabrication process, wherein every step of the carbon lay-up schedule is focussed on detail and perfection, involving more than a day’s work for the team to construct each one.

In the end, the process results in framesets (that’s both frame and fork) tipping the scales at an astonishingly light 1179 grams – at no cost to strength and durability.
