To celebrate its 150th anniversary, legendary British saddle maker, Brooks, has partnered with Pelago Bicycles to create a special edition bespoke road bike called – the Stavanger.
Using classic chromoly tubes for its frameset, combined with a modern-day groupset, disc brakes and fenders, the Stavanger can serve in a number of capacities ranging from an everyday urban commuter to an all-out randonneur.
The Stavanger is hand-built in Pelago’s facility in Finland, which features such old-world stylings as a copper plated lugged fork, Brooks’ limited edition Swift saddle, matching leather bar tape and its own numbered copper badge on the seat tube.
Not surprisingly, the Stavanger will be available in limited numbers only (15 bikes to be exact), and it carries a hefty price tag of 2500€.

To cherish the Brooks’ Anniversary of 150 Years of Excellence, we have teamed up for a special edition of the Pelago Stavanger. The Stavanger pays respect to timeless design aesthetic and represents contemporary spec and uncompromised quality. Regardless of the weather conditions, this versatile bicycle excels at fast-paced commuting, randonneuring and general all-road grinding.
The frame is made of double butted 4130 CrMo steel and the geometry and details are designed for multipurpose use. The Shimano 105 components and TRP Spyre mechanical disc brakes make Stavanger reliable and easy to maintain. The bicycle comes in 5 sizes from 50 to 62cm with full-size lightweight aluminum fenders and mounting points for racks, water bottles and other accessories.
This limited edition is designed and hand built in Finland, featuring a copper plated fork, copper decals with hand-stamped numbers of 15 units total — and crowned with the Brooks 150 year Anniversary Swift saddle with copper rivets and rails.
