CamelBak Introduces New Bikepacks Aimed at Commuters

Known mainly for its backpack-style hydration products, CamelBak has introduced two new bikepacks that are aimed at commuters, boasting technical features like weatherproof protection, reflectivity and lightweight breathability in a sleek, stylish design.

“The exterior of the packs is made with a 330d Cordura Nylon with PU (polyurethane) coating for the best balance of weather resistance and light weight without sacrificing the durability needed for everyday carry,” says CamelBak.

“The Air-Support back panel provides incredible breathability, mitigates heat-built up and provides comfort during the commute,” adds CamelBak.

The new bikepacks are called the M.U.L.E. Commute 22 and H.A.W.G. Commute 30, which are compatible with CamelBak Crux reservoirs (sold separately) with the latter capable of holding up to 100 fluid ounces, along with a stormproof laptop sleeve with taped seams to keep your electronics safe.

The bikepacks also feature what CamelBak calls “Command Center” pockets on the harness, which are designed to provide quick access to small items like a phone or earbuds. There are also large side pockets for things like water bottles and bike locks, stowage for a helmet when you’re off the bike and a removable waist strap for added stability.

The M.U.L.E. Commute 22 and H.A.W.G. Commute 30 sell for $120 and $160, respectively, which can be purchased directly on CamelBak’s website.
