Canyon Expands Its Range of Urban Bikes with New Citylite and Citylite:ON Models

• Everything you need is included: The Citylite comes with dynamo lights, fenders, kickstand, a rack and frame-integrated lock for quick security. Meanwhile the Citylite:ON is equipped with all you need for the city, including built-in lights (with clever braking signal) as well as fenders, kickstand, rack, and a frame-integrated lock.  .  
• Comfort is guaranteed: Both Citylite and Citylite:ON feature lightweight, aluminium frames equipped with vibration-damping carbon forks. On the Citylite, riding comfort is guaranteed with an upright position and a wide, comfy Selle Royal Essenza saddle. The Citylite:ON takes comfort up a notch, thanks to its smooth ride, powerful Bosch Performance Line motor, and Vario suspension seat post. The wide (650×47) Maxxis DTR-1 tyres also add compliance to the ride while 60mm aluminium fenders keep you dry and warm when conditions are foul. Both bikes feature ergonomic grips (with molded “wings”) that reduce pressure on hands and wrists. 
• Frame design lends confidence: Not every city street is smooth and serene, which is why both Citylite models feature stable handling and cockpits that help riders stay confident and in control. Ergonomic handlebars, with just the right amount of sweep and rise, put their pilots in a comfortable-yet-engaged position. Both bikes also feature an integrated front light, to help riders see and be seen by others on the road.
• Carrying your essentials is easy: Both bikes come with an MIK HD rack, so you can mount everything you need for any city scenario—from a child seat to a basket or side bag. You can also add a front rack or a trailer for even more options.
• Reliability is a core feature: An internal geared hub and a durable Gates belt drive eliminate the stress and mess of regular maintenance that comes with daily riding. Powerful and reliable Canyon-branded Promax Urban Clean hydraulic disc brakes give you all the stopping power you need, whenever you need it. On e-bike models, the rear light features an integrated speed sensor that automatically triggers a brake signal to alert anyone behind you that you’re slowing down.
• One size fits all: With easy-to-adjust seatpost and handlebar angle, the Citylite takes a one-size-fits all approach for maximum flexibility. Sharing a single bike with friends and family just got much easier. The Step-Over versions are designed to accommodate riders between 165-195 cm, while the Step-Through version can fit riders between 155-180 cm.
• Connectivity: Mounted on the stem is a clever SP Connect SPC+ E-CAP smartphone mount with an optional wireless phone charging module (purchasable separately via Canyon) that has been specially developed for e-bikes to enable cable-free charging directly from the e-bike battery.
