Chrome Launches New “Urban Ex” Pannier Bag Aimed at the Urban Cyclist

Chrome has launched its new Urban Ex cycling bag, aimed at providing the urban cyclist with the ultimate pannier.

“The Urban Ex is a rugged waterproof cycling bag designed for life in the city that’s been optimized to flow though your environment as you transition from the bike to the train to the office and back again,” says Chrome. “It’s 100% welded and waterproof, the Urban Ex Pannier coincides with the growing trend of bike commuters taking the load off their backs and putting it on their bikes,” adds the brand.

However, unlike other pannier bags the Urban Ex provides superior protection on the bike, which features Chrome’s proprietary Knurled Welded technology, making it waterproof, durable and hard-wearing.

Additionally, the Urban Ex has a suspended padded laptop sleeve, along with an external loop attachment for u-locks, lights and other accessories.

It also has internal and external tote handles, as well as a removable shoulder strap. Moreover, the quick-mount locking attachment system is adjustable to fit most standard bike racks, along with subtle reflective hits on the side cinch straps that help to keep rider visibility up in dark conditions.

The Urban Ex also fits in perfectly with the rest of Chrome’s line, bringing the brand’s timeless aesthetic to the often overlooked pannier category, without compromising functionality.

“The Urban Ex pannier is a bag engineering to serve the bike community,” says Chrome.
