Classified has expanded the capabilities of its wireless electronic internal gear 2-speed Powershift rear hub, making it compatible with SRAM 12-speed road and gravel groupsets.
Up until now, Classified’s planetary gear system was limited to the Belgian brand’s own proprietary 11-speed cassettes, but with the introduction of four new 12-cassettes, the system can now work with SRAM 12-speed drivetrains.
Additionally, just like the 11-speed variants, the new 12-speed cassettes are built from a single block of steel and share the same proprietary driver interface for Classified’s Powershift rear hub, allowing the brand’s Powershift rear wheels to be easily upgraded to 12-speed by simply replacing the cassette.
Moreover, given the cross compatibility between SRAM and Campagnolo 12-speed drivetrains, Classified suggests the new cassettes will likely work with the Italian brand as well.
The new Classified 12-speed cassettes are available in 11-28, 11-30, 11-32 and 11-34 gear ratios for 199€, with availability expected in August.
