Classified has announced its latest partnership with M83, with plans to equip the German boutique brand’s range of Vagabund gravel bikes with its innovative wireless gearing system and carbon wheelsets.
“The Vagabund is the core product of M83, having built the near-perfect Gravelbike for their customers by following the principle of “keep it simple. Equipped with Classified, the M83 Vagabund is ideally suited for customers who want to ride a one-drive, but don’t want miss the comfort of riding a compact cassette and having a wide gear range,” says Classified.
“In our point of view, Classified perfectly combines the advantages of two worlds: the range of a double crank drive with the safety gains, ease and performance of a one-drive system,” adds André, Co-Founder of M8.
Classified’s drivetrain replaces the traditional front derailleur with a wireless, 2-speed system which is integrated into the rear wheel hub, resulting in instantaneous gear changes that’s compatible with 11 and 12 speed rear derailleurs, earning the company both the Eurobike Gold Award and the Design and Innovation Award this year.
This announcement comes on the heels of Classified’s recent partnership with Officine Mattio, marking the first collaboration between an Italian bike company and the Belgian component specialist to equipped the former’s OM1 S, Lemma and SL road models, as well as its Santiago C gravel bike.
