Thanks to Colnago, and the launch of its new entry-level C-RS road bike, there’s now a bike to help scratch the itch for every enthusiast who craves a euro-gucci bike.
However, given its press fit bottom bracket and oversized shell, specially shaped tube profiles, internal cable routing and clearance for up to 25mm tires, Colnago says the C-RS is anything but entry-level. And, given its relaxed geometry (i.e. taller and relaxed head-tube angle, longer wheelbase and shorter reach), it was clearly designed to meet the growing demand for comfort from the sportive/endurance riding segment.
“The C-RS was created to meet the demands of cyclists looking for a high-quality product without compromise,” added Colnago. “We look forward to putting it through its paces soon.
According to Colnago, the C-RS will be available in 8 sizes, with complete builds starting with Shimano 105 – all the way up to full Ultegra equipped bikes.
Expect to see pricing and availability for C-RS sometime in and around this month’s Eurobike Show.
