The Design + Innovation Award announced the winners of this year’s road bike category, with the Canyon Endurance CF SLX 9.0 Di2, Santa Cruz Stigmata CX1, Trek Domane SLR Project One and Whyte Wessex receiving top honors.
Additionally, the Lightweight WEGWEISER, 3T Discus Plus C25 Pro and ENVE SES 4.5 AR Disc wheelsets were also given awards for their respective innovation and design.
Other products such as the Easton EC90 SL crankset, Oakley Radar Pace eyeglasses, Sweet Protection Falconer Aero helmet and Sigma brake light also received recognition alongside Polartec’s Alpha insulation fabric and X-Bionic’s StreamLite Vest.
The Design + Innovation Awards committee says the annual awards event is a “unique event with the clear mission to bring the international bicycle industry to the next level. We want to make the bicycle world better for all bikers, the industry and media landscape. We join forces with the most experienced journalists and opinion leaders in order to award the world’s best products for the next season and to make pioneering decisions.”
