Ducati Flaunts New Futa All-Road Electric Bike

Ducati is flaunting its latest Futa All-Road electric bike, a new version of the Italian brand’s e-road bike that’s designed for comfort and versatility, allowing gravel cyclists and bikepackers alike to explore the great expanse.

Retaining the same sporty endurance geometry as the Futa AS, the Futa All-Road is equipped with FSA’s System HM 1.0 hub-based motor, which can deliver up to 250 watts and 42Nm of assistance, while the 250Wh battery is housed inside the bike’s down tube. For riders looking to go on adventures beyond the bike’s standard range, an additional 250Wh range extender can be purchased separately.

“The Futa All Road is designed for long distances and does not shy away from rough roads,” Ducati said in a press release. “It’s a bike for those who like to choose their own path and don’t want to give up the good feeling of escaping traffic. It’s for the enjoyment of panoramic routes, as well as the challenges of long climbs and tough segments.”

Elsewhere, the Futa All-Road is fitted with a SRAM wireless 2x Rival AXS groupset that rolls on a set of Vision AGX 30 wheels, while the cockpit is treated to a Vision/FSA finishing kit that includes the newly released FSA K-Wing AGX carbon gravel handlebars. Also, bikepacking accessories include the Skuad saddle bag, frame bag and bar bag, which feature waterproof fabric throughout the range.

Interestingly, the Futa All-Road comes shod with 38mm Vittoria Terreno Dry tires up front and narrower 35mm tires on the back, an odd arrangement considering most staggered tire fitments are done oppositely.

The 12.4kg Futa All-Road sells for a hefty €7,690 (approximately $8,340.00), which is available in four sizes ranging from small to extra large.
