Fizik Adds Argo X to Its Range of Off-Road Saddles

Fizik has added the Argo X to its range of off-road saddles, treating gravel, cyclocross, bikepackers and cross-country cyclists alike to a new perch that’s designed to take on the rigors of the great expanse.

Built upon Fizik’s top-end Argo racing saddle platform, the X version incorporates various features optimized for off-road racing, featuring a wide, short-nosed structure that ensures comfort for riders even in the most aggressive riding positions. Moreover, the saddle’s low profile and rounded contour ensure smooth and fast leg movement, while riders can simultaneously adjust their position and pedaling technique to maintain grip.

Additionally, the Argo X also benefits from an improved ergonomic cut-out, designed to relieve pressure on sensitive areas during long gravel races, which features an integrated rubber layer at the bottom of the cut-out functioning as a mud flap, blocking unwanted dirt and spray.

“Though specific disciplines may differ, cross-country, cyclocross, and gravel racers face many similar challenges, including rough terrain, steep gradients, and the frequent need to adapt quickly to changing conditions. The Argo X is designed to deliver the right race-ready feeling across all these categories, providing greater comfort, pressure relief and stability over bumpy surfaces while supporting the explosive power required to stay ahead of the pack,” boasts Fizik.

Available with X3 Kium or X5 alloy rails, the Argo X sells for $159.99 and $109.99, respectively.
