HED, Berd and Onyx Racing have collaborated on a new Fat Bike specific wheelset, proudly touting that the new set of hoops are 100% made in Minnesota.
Utilizing HED’s Big Deal and Big Half Deal 26 and 27.5 inch rims, the wheels are laced with a special edition version of Berd’s PolyLight spokes called “Black Aura”, along with Vesper hubs from Onyx Racing that feature a “speckled, color-shifting finish” patterned with HED’s limited “Northern Lights” decals.
If that’s not enough, the wheelsets are packaged and wrapped in a Minnesotan-style flannel print box.
The 27.5″ and 26″ wheelsets weigh in at 1,740 grams and 1,800 grams respectively, which are available with Shimano and SRAM XD hub bodies for $3,200.
The wheelsets are available for a limited time only until January 15th.
